Vice Chancellor/Chairman of the Admission Committee at Punjab University Lahore has officially announced the commencement of admissions for the Undergraduate Programs of 2023. Punjab University is widely recognized as one of the most significant and prestigious universities in Pakistan.

The university ensures equal opportunities for all Pakistani national students. In order to facilitate the admission process, the university will conduct entry tests in various categories.
Interested students are advised to carefully review the categories of entry tests available at Punjab University. Eligibility to appear in these tests will depend on the subject combinations pursued by students at the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) level.
Punjab University has launched the E-Portal for admissions for the year 2020-2024. Applications are now being accepted for various undergraduate programs. As part of the enrollment process, the university has scheduled an entry/admission test for all undergraduate programs.
It is mandatory for all interested candidates to participate in the entry test, as the marks obtained in the written examination will be taken into consideration for the merit-based selection process.

Candidates who meet the following criteria are eligible to appear in the entry test for admission to undergraduate programs:
- Candidates who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination or an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates who are awaiting the results of the HSSC examination are also eligible to apply.

General Terms and Conditions
Admission forms can be accessed through the E-Portal of the University at admission.pu.edu.pk.
- Candidates must deposit an examination fee of Rs. 1500 through a Challan.
- The Challan form can also be obtained from the university’s website. Please note that the fee is non-refundable.
- Candidates must upload a clear and original picture of the paid Challan form.
- For admission to the Engineering Program, candidates must successfully pass the NUST and ECAT tests.
Entry Test Date for Undergraduate Programs at Punjab University
The entry test for undergraduate programs at Punjab University is scheduled to take place on June 25th, 2023. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the university’s website for any updates regarding the test.
