SBP Internship Program for Students at State Bank of Pakistan

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) offers a six-week Summer Internship Program for students starting from June 24 to August 02, 2024, at SBP Karachi.

Who can Apply?

People across Pakistan and AJK with a valid CNIC/NICOP/Pakistani passport can apply for the Summer Internship Program.

Eligibility Criteria

• You should have finished at least two out of four years in a Bachelor’s degree program or be currently enrolled in a Master’s program.
• Eligible fields include Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture, Media Sciences/Mass Communication, Information Systems, and Technology.
• Students should have a minimum of 70% marks (percentage system) or a minimum of 3.00 out of 4.00 CGPA (GPA system).
• Applicants must meet these requirements at the time of applying, and graduates or students waiting for results are not eligible.

How to Apply

• Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications without necessary information will not be considered.
• In-person, via mail, or email applications will not be accepted. Only submit your application online.
• If you face technical issues, contact SBP via email at TechsupportInternship@sbp.org.pk.

When to Apply

The last day to submit online applications is February 15, 2024.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisted students will be contacted by March 15, 2024.
• Shortlisted candidates must submit scanned attested copies of the last semester’s official transcript, CNIC/NICOP/valid Pakistani passport and domicile, and a passport-size photograph.
• Trying to influence the selection process will result in automatic disqualification.
• The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will choose the students for the internship. If you get selected, you’ll get an email confirming it and explaining how to join the internship.
• If there’s any wrong information given during any part of the process, your chance for the internship will be canceled right away.
• The internship will be held at SBP in Karachi. If you’re selected, the bank won’t pay for your travel to Karachi or back, and they won’t provide a place to stay during the internship.
