The Government of Sindh has formally announced the commencement and end dates for the most demanding summer holidays for educational institutions throughout the province.
The summer vacation in Sindh will commence on June 1, granting students and teachers a much-needed break lasting for two months. The vacation period will be ended on July 31, with educational institutions scheduled to reopen on August 1.
This decision was made during a meeting of the education steering committee. The committee, consisting of esteemed education officials, engaged in discussions and deliberations concerning various aspects of the academic calendar.
After thorough consideration, a unanimous decision was made to provide summer vacation, ensuring that both public and private educational institutions under the administrative control of the School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, will strictly follow the designated dates.
The government’s decision to grant this break aims to provide students and educators with an opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy valuable time with their families.
Throughout this period, students are encouraged to actively participate in activities that foster personal development, such as reading, pursuing hobbies, and engaging in recreational endeavours.
