The METI Government of Japan Internship for the year 2023 is currently open for applications from international students. This fully funded internship in Japan is specifically designed for international students. Every year, the program accepts 200 participants from various countries.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry is a government ministry in Japan. The METI Japan Internship Program aims to strengthen Japanese small and medium-sized businesses worldwide expansion skills by hosting foreign university students and global talent as interns.
The initiative is intended to strengthen the framework for tackling foreign development, thereby promoting Japanese enterprises on a worldwide scale.
Notably, applicants are not required to submit their IELTS test scores, and there is no application fee. This internship opportunity provides comprehensive financial support throughout the duration of the program.
Participants will be placed at a variety of companies throughout Japan.The internship will commence during the summer and winter. METI Internship will thus be provided in two batches. The internship program lasts two months in total.
