The King Abdullah University of Science & Technology(KAUST) is offering VSRP Internship 2023. The Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) is an exclusive program where students perform innovative and creative research at KAUST.

Selected interns receive a monthly stipend of $1000, accommodation, airfare tickets, health insurance, and various other benefits.

Eligibility Requirement

  • The internship is open to individuals from all parts of the world.
  • Students in their third year of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a Master’s degree program are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4 or it’s equivalent of 14 out of 20 (ECTS B).
  • Required English Language Proficiency: Applicants are expected to demonstrate proficiency in English equivalent to a score of 79 on the TOEFL IBT (Internet Based test)

The Selection Procedure

What happens after you’ve submitted your application?

  • Once all requirements have been met, your whole application will be reviewed, and you may be contacted by an instructor for a ZOOM interview to discuss your academic, research, and internship interests.
  • If you are chosen to continue, you will be invited to a ZOOM interview with the Office of Admissions, where we will answer any questions you may have about life at KAUST and learn more about you.
  • If you get accepted, you will receive an email acceptance note following the interview.
  •  Finally, a travel expert will contact you to assist with your easy adjustment to the KAUST campus.

How Does the KAUST Internship Program Work?

  • You will be able to find a suitable internship project.
  • You will make contact and submit an application.
  • As agreed with your faculty mentor or a score of 6.5 on the IELTS.
