MDCAT 2020 Entry Test In September | Policy Announced

Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Tests MDCAT 2020 are anticipated to be conducted from September 15, 2020, to October 15, 2020, across the country. All four provinces are advised to conduct the test within these dates. These tests are delayed due to COVID -19, but now it is almost finalized to conduct the tests.

Eligibility Criteria for MDCAT 2020

It is advised to permit students with 65% marks to appear in the Medical Entry test. Last year students with a minimum 70% marks were allowed to appear in the test. The Government of Balochistan had objected on the ground that in Balochistan, the number of students who got 70% in Intermediate with science was very low.

Considering this objection of Balochistan, 65% of FSc pre-medical has been made compulsory for students looking for admission in medical colleges all over the country this year.

MDCAT 2020 Passing Marks

33% minimum marks are considered passing marks for MDCAT. Students with less than 33% marks in the entrance test will not take admission in medical colleges.

In this respect, a meeting was also arranged under the chairmanship of the Provincial Secretary Health pertaining to admissions in medical colleges of Sindh where the heads of all government and non-government medical colleges of the province comprising Dow University, and Jinnah Sindh Medical University participated.
