Eligibility Requirement
- The internship is open to individuals from all parts of the world.
- Students in their third year of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a Master’s degree program are eligible to apply.
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4 or it’s equivalent of 14 out of 20 (ECTS B).
- Required English Language Proficiency: Applicants are expected to demonstrate proficiency in English equivalent to a score of 79 on the TOEFL IBT (Internet Based test)

What happens after you’ve submitted your application?
- Once all requirements have been met, your whole application will be reviewed, and you may be contacted by an instructor for a ZOOM interview to discuss your academic, research, and internship interests.
- If you are chosen to continue, you will be invited to a ZOOM interview with the Office of Admissions, where we will answer any questions you may have about life at KAUST and learn more about you.
- If you get accepted, you will receive an email acceptance note following the interview.
- Finally, a travel expert will contact you to assist with your easy adjustment to the KAUST campus.
